Although the company claimed they would give tips on how to make money flipping houses at the workshop, the actual cost of those "secrets" was tens of thousands of dollars.
FTC Zurixx recommends that people attend its free property seminars. This is done by using TV stars and HGTV stars such as Dave Seymour from Flipping Boston and Peter Souhleris of Flipping Boston, Christina El Moussa, Flip or Flop and Hilary, Love It or List It, and Hilary.
Andrew Smith of FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection claims that the whole operation is a poor deal. To lure customers to real-estate seminars that cost thousands of dollars, the organization made deceptive promises about large earnings.
Customers can also submit complaints to Better Business Bureau.
